Maintain Low Body Fat By Eating More Fruits And Vegetables
It’s now widely agreed that our society as a whole should be eating a lot more fruits and vegetables. There are some people who will find this easy to accomplish, but the majority of people are still finding it really difficult to do. The key here is to not confuse yourself, don’t overload you brain with information, keep things simple, take it one small step at a time. Here’s a quick way to start your journey – swap any pasta’s or rice on your plate with a scoop or four of protein rich vegetables.
You can make these healthy changes everywhere, even at your local subway. Replace the fatty mayo and cheese with olive oil and vinegar and ask for an extra serving of veg and maybe a little more meat. You can grab more fruit by replacing your junky deserts like potato chips and chocolate chip cookies with oranges or apples.
If you want six pack abs it’s important to eat as much fruit and veg as you can as it helps keep your body fat percentage low, the perfect abs work out plan can be found here.
I remember how I used to feel after I ate a big dinner every afternoon – fat, tired and bloated. I now replace those meals with big servings of fresh tasty salads and its amazing how much better I feel every night, try it! In my opinion salads which you make yourself, as opposed to buying pre-packaged from the supermarket, are the best way to go. You can even make the same salads every day but just switch the dressings and you’ll have a different tasting, healthy meal every night of the week.
You can make it easier for yourself by making the salad and the dressing the night before and leaving it in the fridge. If you do that you can simply grab a meal from the fridge if your in a hurry, you won’t have to spend time or money going to a fast food place to fill yourself up. I also always make sure I have a selection of fresh fruits available so I can grab a healthy snack if I’m peckish throughout the day.
I’m glad now that the big fast food chains have jumped on the healthy eating bandwagon, big players like McDonald’s and Burger Kings now have quite a large selection of fresh fruits available, so the next time you’re there make sure you check them out. Even though the ready made salads at the supermarket aren’t the best, they are always better than non at all, so if your honestly so busy you can find the time to make your own salads you should grab one from there.
